2021-04-04 Torre Abbey is a must when visiting Torquay, there is so much history to be resourced. The staff were friendly and helpful. There are robotic talks to be had (very interesting) from the beginning to today. Café was clean, tidy and staff friendly, very busy though. Dropped in for afternoon tea very pleasant surroundings Tea/Scones/Cream an Jam all very nice.The Abbey was very interesting all in all a very good 3hrs visit.From there you can leave your car in the Large Pay an Display (very hard thing to get in Torquay*)and go into the Riviera Sports Complex complete with Swimming Pool and Water Slide that exits the building.
